Quarry Safety Passport Training
Anglian Excavations is committed to ensuring that all operatives are trained and competent in what they do, from driving and operating machinery to grinding steel in the workshop for a particular fabrication job.
To support this approach, Anglian Excavations is an accredited SPA MPQC quarry safety passport training provider. Courses are run to accommodate new employees and those who require refresher training, as well as external delegates.
The safety passport approach ensures that all operatives are provided with key health and safety information, so that they have a good level of understanding of health and safety requirements for example, their responsibilities, why procedures must be followed and why we undertake risk assessments on workplace activities. This supports quarry operative’s competence, to help them work safely and in line with the requirements of the Quarries Regulations.
Our in-house Health, Safety and Environmental Manager delivers the passport course from our purpose-built training room at Rattlesden, Suffolk with space to accommodate up to 10 delegates comfortably.
Quarry safety passport courses are held regularly for employees and also for those external to the organisation who require a safety passport or the need to renew prior to their expiry date.
Dates of courses can be obtained from the SPA website or call our office for further advice and information.
